Refund Policy

At Bitewith, we connect you with restaurants and delivery partners to bring you great food, quickly and reliably. Since food is perishable and made to order, all sales are generally final and non-refundable. However, in rare cases where service issues occur, refunds may be considered as outlined below.
1. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be issued only at Bitewith’s sole discretion in cases of:
- Wrong Order Delivered (items completely different from what was ordered).
- Order Not Delivered (if the delivery partner fails to deliver the food).
- Food Safety Concerns (e.g., spoiled, contaminated, or unfit for consumption, subject to verification).
2. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:
- Change of mind after placing the order.
- Incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by the customer.
- Unavailability of the customer at the delivery location or failure to answer calls.
- Delays caused by external factors beyond Bitewith’s control (e.g., traffic, bad weather, restrictions).
- Dissatisfaction with taste, portion size, or restaurant packaging.
- Minor variations in appearance or presentation of food.
3. Refund Process
- Customers must raise refund requests through the Bitewith app within 1 hour of delivery/non-delivery.
- Clear proof (photos, order ID, and description of issue) must be submitted for review.
- Bitewith will verify with the restaurant/delivery partner before approving any refund.
4. Refund Method & Timeline
- If approved, refunds will be processed either as Bitewith Wallet Credits or to the original payment method (decision at Bitewith’s discretion).
- Refund timelines may vary but usually take 5–10 business days for bank/UPI refunds.
- Partial refunds may be issued where only part of the order is affected.
5. Cancellations
- Customer-initiated cancellations: Orders cannot be canceled once placed, as food preparation begins immediately.
- Restaurant/Partner cancellations: In case a restaurant cannot fulfill the order, you will receive a full refund.
6. Final Decision
All refund and cancellation decisions made by Bitewith are final and binding. Bitewith reserves the right to deny refunds if claims are found invalid, fraudulent, or abusive.
